Festival Faculty Volunteer (Due Oct. 1, 2017, Extended to Dec. 1, 2017)

SUBMIT the Festival Faculty Volunteer Teaching Registration for all faculty interested in teaching a master class during the festival.

Assumption of Risk Waiver (Due Jan. 15, 2018)

PRINT and MAIL IN ONE PACKET an Assumption of Risk Waiver for each registered attendee

Registration is not complete until all forms and payment are received. *

The Assumption of Risk form need only be filled out once per individual.

 

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

* Fees and forms must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) by the deadline

The Festival will refund costs less 10% to cover deposits and other Festival costs that cannot be recovered up to Feb. 14, 2018. After that date, no refunds will be given for any reason.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing (emails are accepted if all school and personnel information is included). 

Point Park University welcomes students to the 2018 National High School Dance Festival Feb. 28 through March 4, 2018.

Participants are encouraged to arrive the day before the Festival begins to be ready for the Scholarship Auditions and to take part in the limited classes scheduled on Thursday, March 1, 2018. No preregistration for the Thursday classes will be required. 

For the 2018 Festival, the maximum number of students who may attend from any one school is 25 (we expect a very large turnout and cannot guarantee your participation). If the Festival reaches capacity before the Oct. 1, 2017 deadline, your school will be placed on a waitlist and you will be notified upon receipt of your application.

It is recommended that you do not pay for non-refundable flights until your participation in the festival is confirmed.

School Registration (Due Oct. 1, 2017)

DETERMINE participant group attending the event (LIMIT 25 students per school)
Please note that private studios and individuals are not eligible to attend

COMPLETE the Initial Registration Form for your school, which includes registration for two faculty or chaperones

PAY the non-refundable school registration fee of $225
Please submit payment only after filling out your registration forms

Registration is not complete until payment is received. *

Once capacity has been met for the event, you will be added to the waitlist.
You will be notified of your acceptance to the Festival and required to provide payment if accepted.
Payment is required only if accepted to the Festival.

 Adjudication (Due Dec. 7, 2017)

IDENTIFY up to five works to submit for adjudication following the adjudication guidelines

COMPLETE the Adjudication Submission for your works
Please submit payment only after filling out your registration forms

PAY for all works submitted at $25 each

Adjudication is open to both registered and waitlisted schools.
Schools whose works are accepted for performance will have priority registration over those who have not been accepted for performance. After adjudication results are revealed in December, schools will be informed if they are still on the waitlist. Please note that schools are removed from the waitlist when the final headcount has been adjusted.

Individual Registration (Due Jan. 15, 2018)

COMPLETE the Full School Registration Form for all students, faculty, chaperones, and guests attending the Festival

PAY for all attendees
Please submit payment only after filling out your registration forms

PRINT and MAIL IN ONE PACKET the Child Abuse and Criminal Background Clearances for the school AND an Assumption of Risk Waiver for each registered attendee

Registration is not complete until all forms and payment are received. *

Schools are responsible for collecting payments from their participants (students, faculty, chaperones, and guests) and submitting ONE payment for all attendees.

The Assumption of Risk form should be signed by both student and parent/guardian (if the student is a minor).

Scholarship Auditions (Due Feb. 1, 2018)

IDENTIFY up to 10 of your students wishing to audition for scholarships

MEET with your students to discuss student scholarship preferences

SHARE the Student Scholarship Application with students to complete

List of institutions offering scholarships will be continually updated. Students, please review the list carefully and submit your form once all the scholarships are listed. 

 Class Registration (Due Feb. 15, 2018)

MEET with your students to discuss class selection

ENCOURAGE and ASSIST your students in registering for classes

More information on available classes will be available in early 2018.

COMPLETE the Advertisement Submission if you only wish to place an advertisement in the Festival program.

PAY the total indicated on your registration form
